PlanYay is designed to collect only the information needed to provide the travel-planning experience.

Information we process

Your account identity is used to keep trips separated between signed-in travelers. Trip edits, accommodations and profile preferences are currently stored on your device. Public reviews and private invitation records are stored in our hosted database. Location access is optional and requested only when you choose “Use my location.”

How information is used

Information is used to provide itinerary features, show nearby suggestions, publish reviews you submit, create private trip invitations, maintain security and improve the product. We do not sell personal information.

Third-party services and affiliate links

Directions and location searches may open or embed Google Maps. Donations open PayPal. Some local-app links may be referral or affiliate links and are labeled in the planner. Those services process information under their own privacy policies.

Your choices

You can decline location access, remove a trip in the planner, clear locally stored data through your browser, and request removal of a public review or hosted invitation by emailing snochy@gmail.com.

Children

The planner is intended for use by adults organizing family travel and is not directed to children for account creation or data submission.
